21st Street Creative was born out of the intention to tell brand stories in an engaging and bold style. But so what? Isn’t that the kind of banal mission statement that every single production company out there pedals?
During the Covid Pandemic in 2021, we found ourselves producing campaigns for social impact causes, and experienced firsthand the struggles that non-profit organizations and philanthropic endeavors face. From that moment on, there was a singular vision in terms of where we wanted to focus our attention, and that meant exclusively producing social impact films with an agenda to inform, educate and illuminate.
THIS IS WHAT WE’VE LEARNED ALONG THE WAY:
Caring requires a commitment to boldness.
There’s always roadblocks and obstacles, and they often come thick and fast. We feel the weight of the challenge, and hold stakes closely. And that caring becomes action, and then action creates change. Applying energy towards something that matters and is much bigger than you requires courage. Sometimes a spark is all that’s needed to create messages that are truly incendiary.
Social impact demands consistent, applied effort.
There’s no doubt that it’s a struggle. We’ve learned to be supremely resourceful, because our clients face real challenges when it comes to time, money and people. The cause will often never have enough of what it needs. So we keep on doing the next right thing, with purpose and belief. We chose this because like you, we believe in serving the greater common good.
Creating change is more granular than we think.
It’s about small, patient, steady and intentional moves. It’s about understanding momentum so you know when it’s time to sound the siren call. It’s about empowering emerging voices who care about the potency of the matter in hand. Sometimes a day at a time, line by line, moving the cause forward until the levee breaks and a breakthrough surfaces.

ALASTAIR RAMSDEN
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Alastair is 21st Street Creative’s Executive Producer, and focuses on telling inspiring social impact narratives for brands, philanthropists, and nonprofits. Originally from the UK, he made a pivotal move to Los Angeles and began producing in the commercial space. During the pandemic, he discovered a love for documentary producing and created the short-form episodic series ‘Life By The Horns’ for Snapchat. Earning an NAACP nomination for its outstanding contribution to storytelling, the series chronicles the extraordinary journey of the only black bull rider competing at the sport’s highest level.
Beyond his professional life, Alastair is a music lover, dedicated meditation practitioner, and a culinary enthusiast with a passion for home cooking.

CREATIVE PRODUCER & DIRECTOR
Jared is an Australian born, Los Angeles based Director and Editor.
With a creative career spanning two decades, Jared has worked within various genres and styles, including documentary, narrative, music videos, live performance and more. His work has been selected to screen at numerous festivals across the United States, collecting several awards along the way.
Some of his commercial clients include Google, Mercedes, Morgan Stanley, Vogue, The Barack Obama Foundation, Vanity Fair, Smirnoff, GQ, Hermes, 21st Century Fox, Johnson & Johnson, Stella Artois, Vice, Starbucks, Ebay, Barclays, Moët Hennessey, and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
