21st Street Creative was founded by industry veterans, Alastair Ramsden and Simon Tatum who have written, produced and directed for Lionsgate, Warner Brothers, Universal, BBC, National Geographic, Discovery, Animal Planet, Channel 4, TLC Comedy Central and more. 

In the commercial sector, they have been commissioned by brands including Levi’s, Coca Cola, UEFA, Verizon, Walmart and Premier Inn and they've concepted content for emerging brands including Micro, an electric scooter company revolutionizing the industrial transport scene throughout the US and Village Workspaces, an independently run, boutique co-working space. 

Having began their careers in the UK as assistant directors to the likes of Tim Burton, Edgar Wright, Ben Wheatley and Ken Loach they currently reside in California. 



ALASTAIR RAMSDEN, Managing Director

Alastair is 21st Street's pragmatist and multiple hat wearer. Having risen the ranks as an Assistant Director and crossing over into creative development, he knows both sides of the producing coin. He's a keen proponent of leather shoes and the Oxford comma.  


SIMON TATUM, Creative Director

Simon is the creative engine behind the agency and brings a wealth of experience as a creator, writer and director across television, film and commercials. A resident of Santa Monica for almost six years, he's never happier than when bringing words to life.
